Teunissen third in Binck Bank Tour opener

Mike Teunissen (Team Jumbo-Visma) finished third in Binck Bank Tour stage 1, 167,2 km with start in Beveren and finish in Hulst (Netherlands) on Monday, August 12th. The Dutchman sprinted for the success with Oltre XR4, getting to the finish line in the wake of Sam Bennett an Edward Theuns. Teunissen’s teammate Dylan Groenewegen placed seventh.

The 26-year-old from Ysselsteyn will look for his tenth seasonal win – including those in Tour de France opener and ITT stage 2 that pushed him in the lead for the first two days – in the following stages of the Dutch race.
