Primoz Roglic (Team Lotto NL-Jumbo) rode his Bianchi Aquila CV to top the Ster ZLM Toer GP Jan Van Heeswijk’s 7,5-Km prologue time trial in Westkapelle (Netherlands), on Wednesday June 14th. The Slovenian, 27, clocked 8:04, with a 3-second margin on Germany’s Marcel Kittel and Maximilian Schachmann, wearing the first overall leader jersey. Roglic’s teammate, Timo Roosen, finished fifth in 8:12.
Roglic conquered in the Netherlands the fifth seasonal win after the overall success at Volta ao Algarve em Bicicletta, two stage-wins at Vuelta al Pais Vasco and Tour de Romandie’s final time trial.
