Bianchi doubles up at 2017 Eurobike, the world’s largest bicycle exhibition, to be held in Friedrichshafen (Germany) from August 30th to September 2nd. In fact, the Italian company’s completely renewed booth (B3 - 402/403) is divided in two main areas: in one area, visitors will meet the high-end models from the Bianchi’s Road, MTB, City-Fitness, e-Bike and Ducati families; the other will be dedicated to the “Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari” project, which will be officially presented to the press on Wednesday, August 30th, at 11 am in the Room Liechtenstein of the Conference Center West at Eurobike.
THE NEW ROAD MODELS: ARIA (WITH DISC VERSION) AND OLTRE XR3
Bianchi will showcase at Eurobike its new Road models: Aria and Oltre XR3. Aria is the newest addition to the aero road bike range of the Italian brand: a fast performance-oriented model, based on a highly aerodynamic frame-fork system, built for lovers of speed and ideal for any road race, thanks also to its Triathlon-ready set-up. Aria will debut at Eurobike in the new Disc version, with specific frame and fork.
Oltre XR3 completes the Oltre “platform” of high-performance aero road racing machines engineered with Countervail® vibration cancelling technology. Oltre XR3 shares with Oltre XR4 – developed in cooperation with the pro riders of the UCI WorldTour Team Lotto NL-Jumbo – the same revolutionary frame-design developments and the exclusive Countervail® carbon composite-material system. Thanks to its special fiber architecture and viscoelastic resin, Countervail® cancels 80% of vibrations resulting in maximized aero advantage and control.
Naturally, all the Bianchi CV models will be displayed at Eurobike: besides Oltre XR3 and Oltre XR4 (winner of two stages at the 2017 Tour de France), the ultralight Specialissima, Aquila CV, one of the most successful time trial machines in the World Tour, Infinito CV – ideal for uneven surfaces and the cobbles of the Classics, and Methanol CV, the first mountain bike frame enhanced with Countervail® technology, the model used in the UCI XCO World Cup by Stephane Tempier and Marco Aurelio Fontana.
A RENEWED E-BIKE RANGE
Bianchi will also present in Friedrichshafen a completely renewed and extended e-Bike range, designed to meet the needs of every category: Road/Allroad, MTB, Sport and City. Two of the main innovations are Impulso e-Road and Impulso e-Allroad, the power-assisted bikes perfect for road and gravel cyclists: in fact, their frame was specifically designed for a saddle positioning similar to that of a road race bike. Even the aesthetic is similar, thanks to the Polini 36V 250W motor, engineered and produced in Italy, Bergamo (just as Bianchi is), one of the least bulky in its category. The 500WH down tube integrated battery provides power for a range of up to 200 km: exactly what you need to go beyond your limits and reach targets and tops unreachable so far.
Among the e-Sport category proposals there’s the innovative Bianchi E-doardo, a multi-purpose bike, special for its integrated design, attractiveness and value, that can be used as an e-bike or as a traditional bike by taking out the motor. Thanks to its revolutionary power-assistance system, which eliminates the friction sensation during use, E-doardo is ideal for fitness and tourism, and for exploring new cities and places.
At the Bianchi booth, there will be also the World preview of two new e-MTB Ducati branded concepts created by the Treviglio’s company – full suspension and front suspension. Both the models, available on the market from January 2018, are equipped with the new Bosch system, with a 500WH battery fully integrated into the frame and Performance Line CX motor.
BIANCHI CAFÈ & CYCLES POP-UP WITH LAVAZZA
A special Bianchi Cafè & Cycles pop-up will be set up in the booth in cooperation with Lavazza, to welcome guests and partners of the Bianchi’s world in an exclusive and refined environment, and proudly serving the best Italian coffee.
