The Team LottoNL-Jumbo rider held on the leader’s jersey in Qinzhou

After winning Gree-Tour of Guangxi's opener, and taking the first GC leader's jersey of the Chinese race, Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Dylan Groenewegen went close an encore in stage-2 on Wednesday, October 17th. The Dutchman rode his Oltre XR4 to third in the final sprint, after 145,2 km with start in Beihai and finish in Qinzhou (China). Groenewegen was preceded only by Pascal Ackermann and Fabio Jakobsen.
Thanks to this result, the 25-year-old sprinter from Amsterdam held the GC lead in 5:40:29 (4 seconds ahead of Ackermann and Jakobsen) and the Points Classification edge: 23 points, one more than Ackermann (22).
