Team Jumbo-Visma’s athlete rode Aquila CV to success in Ede on June 26th, nine years after his first title
It’s no secret the feeling between Jos Van Emden and Aquila CV, as well as the Dutchman ability in TT races. The 34-year-old rider from Schiedam proved once again his skills by winning the Dutch Championships’ ITT race with start and finish in Ede (Netherlands) on Wednesday, June 26th. Nine years after being crowned National champion for the first time, Van Emden repeated himself in Gelderland’s city, covering the 40,8 km course in 46:59. Team Jumbo-Visma’s rider was 8 seconds faster than Sebastian Langeveld and 27 than Dylan Van Baarle.
The Bianchi-equipped World-Tour team placed two further riders in the Top 10: Koen Bouwman was fourth with a 1:06 gap, Pascal Eenkhoorn ninth (+2:05).
