ZLM Tour, Jansen gives Team Jumbo-Visma fourth straight success
The Norwegian equipped with Oltre XR4 preceded teammate and overall leader Teunissen
One Team Jumbo-Visma’s victory leads to the other at ZLM Tour. After the team’s hat-trick in prologue and Dylan Groenewegen’s one-two, Amund Grøndahl Jansen extended the winning streak by topping the stage 3, 171,4 km from Buchten to Landgraaf (Netherlands) on Saturday, June 22nd. Jansen’s teammate Mike Teunissen was runner-up with a two-second gap, taking the third podium finish in four days, whilst Dane Mads Wurtz Schmidt rounded-out the podium.
Jansen moved up from tenth to second in the GC, 15 seconds behind Teunissen himself and with just one second on Wurz Schmidt. Two more Team Jumbo-Visma’s rider stand in the GC: Jos Van Emden, seventh (+44) and Dylan Groenewegen, ninth (+47). The latter holds the Points Classification’s jersey with 30 points, 5 more than Teunissen.
