Oltre RC trionfa ai CyclingWorld Europe Awards 2023

Bianchi launched the Hyperbike concept with the Oltre RC to completely redefine the idea of a high-performance aerodynamic bicycle. The Oltre RC embodies an engineering innovation linked to a single goal: the athlete’s pursuit of maximum speed in alignment with his or her bicycle.

Confirmation of the Oltre RC’s successful innovation came on Friday, March 10, in Düsseldorf, Germany, when Bianchi’s Hyperbike was awarded Best Race Bike at the 2023 CyclingWorld Europe Awards. The awards were given as part of CyclingWorld Europe, the international trade show held March 10-12 at the Areal Böhler. The Oltre RC was the top vote-getter in the high-performance road model category by a community of more than 50 thousand cycling fans.

Developed by Reparto Corse Bianchi, the Oltre RC was designed to achieve optimal integration by creating the perfect athlete-bike system. Hence, the revolutionary design of Bianchi’s new aero model derives from this concept: the bike’s profile features the innovative aero cockpit and – most importantly – the introduction of Air Deflectors, an unparalleled technology in the bike world. Placed on either side of the head tube, Air Deflectors channel airflow by creating a low-pressure area at the rear of the tube, thus allowing the athlete to generate more power with less effort.

In addition to the top-of-the-range Oltre RC, which was explicitly designed for pros, the new Oltre range includes the Oltre Pro model for experienced athletes, which also comes equipped with Air Deflectors, and the Oltre Comp version, designed for a more general type of cyclist who still seeks the thrill of speed.
