Engineered for the most demanding and most ambitious racers, the Oltre is nothing short of a revolution in the way we think about aerodynamics. The Oltre platform is led by the Oltre RC hyperbike and complemented by the Oltre Pro and Oltre Comp models.

HARNESS THE VORTEX

New Aero cockpit. One of the most impactful and revolutionary aspects of the Oltre is its proprietary handlebar. The cavity in the centre generates a vortex behind it that reduces the air pressure and resistance hitting the athlete’s legs, so less power is needed to create more speed.

DOMINATE THE DRAG

A world exclusive Bianchi technology, the Air Deflector (Patent Pending) simultaneously reduces the drag against the frame and amplifies the work done by the handlebar by protecting the low pressure area it creates for the legs.

PERFECT ATHLETE-BIKE SYSTEM

In the quest for aero the most critical aspect is the human body, which increases drag more than any part of the bike. The Oltre’s precision-engineered design tackles this head-on. The handlebar and Air Deflectors reduce the athlete's drag, amplifying the efficiency and power of every pedal stroke.

ELITE INNOVATION

A pioneering system which not just manages, but dominates the drag. This means great performance in a dead-straight line, but when the angle of the wind changes to either side, the bike truly comes alive. The Air Deflector (Patent Pending) can be found on RC and Pro models of the Oltre.

AERODYNAMIC EDGES

The proprietary design of the cockpit reduces drag. It does this with integration of the handlebar and stem, and strategically-placed Aero Profiles along the top of the bar. These Aero Profiles are placed to reflect the flow of air over your bars, and offer an additional marginal aerodynamic gain.

REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN THINKING

To create an aero bike that controls airflow, we borrowed ideas from innovative technology sectors, including automotive, aerospace and architecture. The goal is to lead the air to very specific areas of the frame, ensuring airflow is as close to the surfaces of the bike and rider as possible.
The far-thinking design is enhanced by a judicious balance of paint and exposed carbon, creating a fearsome racing aesthetic that never for a second compromises on the overall weight of the Oltre.

The Oltre marks a turning point in Bianchi’s long history. For the first time, Reparto Corse has designed saddles and wheel sets, making the Oltre the most complete bike Bianchi has ever produced. The performance of athlete and bicycle together was at the forefront of the design process.

ROLLING SPEED

The RC50 SPBTech and RC65 SPBTech wheels are extremely stiff and super responsive, with incredibly smooth rolling thanks to Super Precision Bearings technology. The weight of the pair is 1.520g (+/- 5%) and the 3K carbon finish enhances the aesthetics of these components.

POSITION
OF POWER

The RC139 Carbon Air saddle on the Oltre RC ensures the rider can maintain a comfortable, aerodynamic position on long rides or in the heat of a race. It is 139 mm wide x 250 mm long, weighs 168 grams and employs 3D variable density padding. The carbon shell and frame provide maximum stiffness for no weight penalty.

Oltre RC

The new top-of-the-range model in Bianchi's aero racing collection, the Oltre RC has been designed for the most extreme athletes looking for maximum speed. The Oltre RC introduces the hyperbike concept. Created for World Tour racing and professionals, the Oltre RC dominates airflow, thus reducing aerodynamic resistance and increasing the speed of the overall bike-athlete system.
It's a hyperbike even with its weight: the Oltre RC in size 55 tips the scales at a lean 6.850kg (+/- 5%).

Oltre Pro

The Oltre Pro shares the same construction principles as the top-of-the-line RC model and features Air Deflector technology and a new aero handlebar. The frame incorporates the Bianchi CV vibration cancellation system into the carbon fiber, which increases riding comfort for a less extreme rider.
