The new Specialissima is a bike for professional and exigent riders who refuse to compromise, with the new model delivering a 16-watt improvement on its predecessor at 50km/h. The ultra-premium RC frame is 40 grams lighter than the previous version whilst maintaining the same level of stiffness, weighing in at just 750g (size 55).

True to Bianchi’s performance DNA, the new Specialissima ensures that speed does not come at the cost of control. All new Specialissima models integrate Countervail technology, featuring a new formula that provides higher vibration damping capabilities. This delivers maximum comfort and control during high-speed, technical descents whilst maintaining the necessary stiffness for explosive sprints and accelerations.

There are two performance levels, with the elite Reparto Corse RC 49R version taking straight pull spokes and the Bianchi B 49R version using j-bend spokes.

New RC 49R carbon wheels – engineered by Bianchi’s Reparto Corse – are being introduced on the Specialissima RC and Pro. They feature a 49mm profile and 25mm internal width, and have been optimised to complement the frame.

As well as greater comfort and lightness, the wheels boast gravel-ready durability (ASTM 2 standard). The RC spec also get a chopped carbon finish.

For riders seeking an ultra-premium aesthetic, the marquee Specialissima RC model is also available in three totally new designs as part of the Officina Bianchi customization programme which provides exemplary, rarefied experiences for riders looking to add a flourish of individuality to their bikes: Alba, Archivio Celeste and Nebulosa.

In addition to those bold new colourways, customers also have the option to adorn their Specialissima RC in Officina Bianchi’s existing Bluemarine Drip, Canova and Miami Drip finishes.
