Bianchi and Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels join forces again for 2024

The World Tour season has already begun and has revealed the French team riding the award-winning top-of-the-line Bianchi Reparto Corse models: the aerodynamic Oltre RC and the ultralight climber Specialissima RC

The 2024 racing season marks the second consecutive year of a collaboration between Bianchi and Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels, which is taking aim at winning prestigious victories and consolidating a solid position in the UCI World Tour rankings.

The new year has already started in the name of success, as Kevin Vanquelin claimed the Etoile de Besseges’ ending time trial, and the 2nd place overall, on February 4th.

For the 2024 season, the French team will be equipped with the Oltre RC and the newly unveiled Specialissima RC, custom-crafted by Bianchi Reparto Corse, which has leveraged more than 100 years of racing experience using cutting-edge materials and technologies to design the bikes.

The Specialissima RC, recent winner of the 2024 Design & Innovation Award, is poised to make its mark on the entire World Tour season. This new all-rounder from Bianchi combines an ultralight and highly responsive frame with aerodynamic concepts inspired by the Oltre RC to ensure optimal support on climbs, descents, and flat terrain.

On the Specialissima frame, Bianchi’s expert painters have created captivating transitions and gradients to convey a sense of lightness. Unfinished sections with exposed carbon create a contrast of texture and aesthetics, further emphasizing lightness and airiness while shaving weight.

When speeds surge and sprinting demands every watt, the aerodynamic Oltre RC will be the perfect ally for Arnaud Démare and his teammates. The antracite colorway with celeste inserts, with ultralight painting and exposed carbon section, further highlights the racing DNA of Bianchi’s hyperbike.

Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels’ Bianchi bike fleet is completed by the Aquila time trial model, and the Zolder for cyclocross. Bianchi is proud to collaborate with premium technical partners such as Selle Italia (saddles), Vision (wheels) and Vittoria Tires (tires) for the 2024 season.

The technical equipment available to Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels is:

  • Drivetrain: Shimano DuraAce
  • Wheels: Vision Metron (45 and 60) SL
  • Tires: Vittoria Corsa Pro
  • Saddles: Selle Italia
  • Bottles and bottlecages: Elite
  • Handlebar tape: Bianchi

Leading the charge for Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels in sprint finishes will be the French champion, Arnaud Démare, who boasts 10 Grand Tour victories and a Milano-Sanremo title. Supporting him are David Dekker and the two Italians, Luca Mozzato and Vincenzo Albanese, who aim to solidify their presence among the other speed racers. The talented Kevin Vauquelin will continue his growth trajectory in stage races, while Clément ChampoussinFlorian Sénéchal, and Louis Barré will be the go-to riders for one-day races.

Bianchi will also be at the side of Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels Women and the Development team in the Continental category.
