Cookie Policy

Privacy Policy | pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR

Dear User,

this Website uses different types of cookies to function correctly and improve your browsing experience. We will also use some analytics cookies similar to technical cookies to statistically evaluate the performance and use of the Website.

In addition, if you give us your consent, we will use marketing cookies to display, while you browse the internet, advertising messages for our products and services for which you have shown an interest.

To find out more about cookies in general, read What is a cookie? and How can cookies be classified?

To know which cookies the Website uses, read What cookies does the Website uses?

To learn about your rights concerning cookies and how to disable them, read How to manage your cookie preferences.

Please note that you can always withdraw your consent and, more generally, manage your preferences with regard to unnecessary cookies by accessing the control panel.

To understand how we process the personal data that we may acquire through the cookies used by the Website, go to the Cookies and protection of personal data section.

For more information, please consult the Miscellaneous section or read the Cookie Policy in full by clicking here.

EDITION: NOVEMBER 2021

Cookies are small text files that can be sent from a website, when you visit it, to your device (usually to the browser you use) where they are stored. This way, the website will recognise you on each subsequent visit. On that occasion, in fact, the cookies that you have accepted will be sent to the website from your device.

Each cookie typically contains: the name of the server from which the cookie was sent, the expiration date and a value, usually a unique number generated at random by the computer. The website server, which transfers the cookie, will use this number to recognise you when you return to the website or when you browse from one page to another on the website.

Cookies can have various functions, be sent by the owner of the website you visit or by third parties and have a different lifespan depending on the type. To learn more, please read here.

In general, cookies are classified into different types based on:

(A) LIFESPAN

  • session cookie (temporary): it is automatically deleted at the end of the browsing session (when closing the browser)
  • persistent cookie: it is active until its expiration date or its cancellation by the user

(B) ORIGIN

  • first-party cookies: sent to the user’s browser directly from the website being visited
  • third-party cookies: sent to the user’s browser by other websites, which install cookies through the website being visited

(C) PURPOSE

Technical cookies:

  • essential (navigation/indispensable/performance/process or security cookies) contribute to the operation of the website visited, giving for example the possibility to browse between pages or to access protected areas. If they are blocked, the website cannot function properly
  • non-essential (function/preferences/location/session status cookies) allow you to store information that changes the behaviour or appearance of the website (preferred language, size of texts and fonts, geographical area where you are). If they are blocked, the experience is less functional but not compromised.

Analytics / statistical cookies

  • They are used to collect information and generate statistics on using the website to understand how visitors interact with it. Third-party analytical cookies may or may not include masking the user’s IP address, with the consequent possibility of user identification and tracking, always in order to analyse the use of the website visited. Cookies belonging to this category are comparable to cookies and technical identifiers if: i) they are used only to produce aggregate statistics and in relation to a single website or a single mobile application; ii) at least the fourth component of the IP address is masked for those of third parties; iii) third parties refrain from combining analytical cookies, so minimised, with other processing (customer files or statistics with data relating to multiple domains, websites or apps that are attributable to the same publisher or business group) or from transmitting them to additional third parties.

Profiling cookies (e.g. advertising/tracking/conversion tracking cookies):

  • Are used to create profiles relating to the user to allow them to display advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same as part of their browsing on the net

The Website uses analytics cookies, sent from our domain (bianchi.com), to collect, in aggregate form, information on the traffic of the Website and generate statistics on its use (e.g. collection of number of completion of forms and relative percentage of total clicks).

In particular, the Website employs Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”) that uses online identifiers for statistical purposes (e.g. IP addresses, client IDs and device identifiers). We have adopted features that reduce the identifying power of cookies (by masking significant portions of the IP address that is collected by cookies). As part of this service, Google will not cross-reference the information collected with other information it already has. To learn more, read Google’s policy “How Google uses information from sites or apps when using our partners’ websites or apps” below.
