Bianchi unveils “Limited Edition” to mark 140th anniversary

Few brands can claim a 140-year legacy. Founded in Milan in 1885, Bianchi has reached this remarkable milestone and has chosen to celebrate it in the most fitting way possible – by creating dream bicycles: a world of passion and emotions.
The “Collezione 140 Anniversario” features two flagship models from Bianchi Reparto Corse: the Oltre RC and Specialissima RC, each limited to just 140 numbered units available worldwide. These exclusive bikes embody the perfect fusion of style, innovation, and creativity that has defined Bianchi’s first 140 years.

A LEGACY OF INSPIRATION AND INNOVATION
The Oltre and Specialissima names represent more than just Bianchi’s premium road models competing at cycling’s highest levels. They’ve become synonymous with cycling excellence and have helped write pivotal chapters in both cycling’s history and in the history of the sport itself.
The frames achieve their remarkable visual effect through advanced photochromic paint technology, which creates a stunning interplay with the underlying carbon fiber texture to ensure that each frame is one-of-a-kind.
Inspired by precious amethyst gems, the finish presents as a shifting petroleum green with mesmerizing aquamarine highlights. This distinctive aesthetic extends beyond the frame to include the handlebars and seatpost and adds an extra layer of refinement to both models.

The classic Celeste shade appears on the 140th anniversary commemorative Bianchi logo, and on other frame details to create an elegant contrast, thanks to our creative designers. Each of the 140 models of Oltre RC and Specialissima RC is marked with a prominent serial number, thus making them even more precious.
The Specialissima RC, Bianchi’s lightweight all-rounder, comes equipped with RC33 carbon wheels, RC139 saddle, and a purpose-built handlebar – all developed in-house by Bianchi Reparto Corse. The revolutionary Oltre RC aero hyperbike features Reparto Corse SPM wheels with differentiated profiles (50mm front, 65mm rear), an RC 139 Carbon Air saddle, proprietary aerodynamic handlebars, and Air Deflector technology. Both models are outfitted with Shimano DuraAce Di2 groupsets.
Available now exclusively through Bianchi’s authorized dealer network, the Oltre RC is priced at €13,999, while the Specialissima RC comes in at €12,699. Check bianchi.com for the price in each country. Each purchase includes a premium collector’s welcome package featuring a certificate of authenticity and a commemorative book chronicling Bianchi’s 140-year journey.

CELEBRATING AT MILAN-SAN REMO
Since Bianchi’s history began in Milan, there was no better occasion than the Milan-San Remo classic on Saturday, March 22nd, to celebrate this extraordinary milestone.
“During the Classicissima, Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels’ leader Kevin Vauquelin rode our special edition Oltre RC 140 Anniversario frame,” explained Claudio Masnata, Bianchi’s Marketing and Communication Manager. “Cycling enthusiasts and industry professionals also had the opportunity to see this remarkable bike up close at the starting village. We were thrilled to celebrate this historic milestone alongside Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels at one of cycling’s most beloved monument races.”
The entire Team Arkéa-B&B Hotels paid tribute to this Italian cycling brand by wearing specially designed commemorative jerseys featuring the Bianchi 140th anniversary logo. These jerseys showcased a distinctive graphic treatment that artfully blended Bianchi’s signature Celeste with bold red accents.
