PRIVACY NOTICE – WELCOME KIT
F. I.V. E. Bianchi S.p.A. is constantly committed to protect personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 679/2016 (“GDPR”) and applicable data protection laws (“Applicable Law”).
In accordance with Article 13 GDPR, this privacy notice explains how we’ll process the personal data you voluntarily provide by filling the form to receive the Welcome Kit from 140th collection (“Welcome Kit”).

1 – DATA CONTROLLER
The data controller of your personal data is F.I.V. E. Bianchi S.p.A., with registered office in 24047 Treviglio (BG), Via Delle Battaglie n. 5, fiscal code and VAT number no. 01897810162 (“Bianchi” or “we”).
For any inquiries regarding the processing of your personal data, you can send a communication by post to our office or by e-mail to privacy@bianchi.com.
2 – PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS AND MODALITIES OF PROCESSING
We collect and process only the data that is strictly necessary to send the Welcome Kit and to fulfil the product request you make when filling in the form. The legal basis for processing in this case is art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
These data include the data that you voluntarily provide when filling in this form, including:
- Your personal and contact information, including name, address and e-mail and phone number;
- Data related to your purchase, including bicycle model, size, serial number, purchase date, the name of the store where you bought it, the invoice and bicycle photographs uploaded in the form.
These processing activities will be performed using both manual and electronic means
Providing this personal data is essential for us to send you the Welcome Kit. You’re free not to provide this data, but we won’t be able to send the Welcome Kit in this case.
If you choose to consent to Bianchi’s marketing and profiling activities, this data may also be processed for such purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy [inserire link for further information on this. You’re always free to decide whether or not to consent to such processing activities and this choice will not affect your eligibility to receive the Welcome Kit.
3 – RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
For the said purposes, your personal data may also be shared with:
- dealer, suppliers, and other business partners who provide the services necessary to Bianchi to ship the Welcome Kit;
- authorities; social security and insurance institutions;
- companies within the Bianchi’s corporate group;
- professional advisors, including legal, notary, labor and tax consultants.
We ensure that such recipients comply with Applicable Law and, where necessary, that they are appointed data processors or have appropriate privacy roles.

4 – DATA TRANSFER OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA
These data are not generally transferred outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
If Bianchi needs to transfer the data outside the EEA in exceptional circumstances, it will ensure compliance with the safeguards required by the GDPR to perform extra-EEA data transfers.
5 – DATA RETENTION PERIOD
We will process the data only for the strictly necessary time to ship the Welcome Kit and, unless you have given consent to our marketing and profiling activities, the retention will not exceed 1 year. Bianchi may retain such data longer if a dispute arises with respect to such data.
6 – YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: right to obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, obtain access to such data and to information about how we’re processing it (Article 15 GDPR);
- Right to rectification: right to have your data rectified, if inaccurate or incomplete (Article 16 GDPR);
- Right to be forgotten: right to have your personal data erased, if no longer necessary for Bianchi or in any other circumstance set out by Article 17 GDPR (Article 17 GDPR);
- Right to restriction of processing: the right to obtain restriction of processing in one of the circumstances set out by Article 18 GDPR (Article 18 GDPR);
- Right to portability: the right to receive, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, your personal data and to transmit such data to another data controller (Article 20 GDPR);
- Right to object: the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your personal data performed on the basis of Bianchi’s legitimate interest, where relevant (Article 21 GDPR);
- Right to withdraw consent: the right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 7 GDPR);
- Right lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (please consult this webpage) or to file a claim before the judicial authority.
