Roglic continues stellar moment with Tre Valli Varesine win

Thirteenth seasonal success for the Slovenian, who hits again in Italy after Saturday’s Giro dell’Emilia. Team Jumbo-Visma reaches the 50-win mark in the 2019 season

Nothing holds back Primoz Roglic: the Team Jumbo-Visma Slovenian came on top once again at Tre Valli Varesine, in Italy, on Tuesday October 8th. With a shot well inside the final kilometer, Roglic left all his rivals behind, replicating his Saturday’s solo win at Giro dell’Emilia. It was the 13th win of the sensational season for Roglic, embellished by the Vuelta a Espana overall win and the third place at the Giro d’Italia. The Bianchi-equipped Team Jumbo-Visma also reached a significant milestone, as it collected the 50th win of the season.

After this double, Roglic looks with increased confidence to Saturday’s Il Lombardia, with the ambition of capping with another gem an unforgettable season.

Team Jumbo-Visma was in action also in Belgium on Tuesday, October 8th, at the Binche-Chimay-Binche. Dutchman Jos Van Emden finished in third place in a reduced sprint, behind winner Tom Van Asbroeck and Oliver Naesen, and just ahead of fellow teammate Timo Roosen, fourth.

Primoz Roglic and Jos Van Emden are equipped with Oltre XR4, Bianchi’s ultimate aero road racing machine. Enginereed with the Bianchi CV system powered by Countervail, developed and tested in cooperation with World Tour Team Jumbo-Visma, Oltre XR4 is designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control.
