Roglic wins La Vuelta ITT and reclaims lead

The Slovenian rode to his fourth success at the Vuelta a España in Mirador de Ézaro, moving back in the leader’s seat

Bianchi and Primoz Roglic regained the top of the 75th Vuelta a España. Thanks to a good performance against the clock, the Slovenian rode his Aquila CV to win stage 13, a 33,7 km ITT from Muros to Mirador de Ézaro held on Tuesday November 3rd. Roglic clocked on 46:39 on the finish line, preceding Will Barta by a single second and Nelson Oliveira (+10). The Team Jumbo-Visma rider now leads Vuelta a España’s GC with a 39-second advantage on Richard Carapaz and 0:47 on Hugh Carthy.

Primoz Roglic is equipped with Aquila CV, Bianchi’s ultimate time trial machine engineered with Bianchi CV System that enhances handling control by cancelling up to 80% of road vibrations thanks to a unique composite material. Aquila CV is designed to increase power output and rider’s energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke. On the final climb, Primoz Roglic also rode his Oltre XR4 in the black colourway that significantly reduces the molecular weight of the coating thanks to a unique paint system.
