Team Jumbo-Visma dominate ZLM Tour prologue

Team Jumbo-Visma laid down the law in ZLM Tour prologue, 6,8 km with start and finish in Yerseke (Netherlands) on Wednesday, June 19th. The Bianchi-equipped World Tour team’s riders claimed all the three steps of the podium. Jos Van Emden rode his Aquila CV to clock the best time, 7:54, two seconds faster than fellow countryman Mike Teunissen and German Tony Martin (7:56). Aquila CV proved once again World Tour’s most successful TT bike so far.

Van Emden is the first leader of the home race, ahead of Teunissen and Martin themselves. The 34-year-old rider from Schiedam also tops the Points Classification, whilst Team Jumbo-Visma has a 27-second advantage on Team Katusha Alpecin and 28 seconds on Team Sunweb in the teams classification.
