Tony Martin claims his 9th German ITT title

Team Jumbo-Visma claimed their third National ITT title in a few days. In the wake of Dutch Jos Van Emden and Belgian Wout Van Aert’s wins, multiple World champion Tony Martin was crowned German “king” for the ninth time.

Equipped with Aquila CV, the 34-year-old rider from Cottbus topped the 35-km race with start and finish in Spremberg on Friday, June 28th. National ITT champion for the eighth year in a rown, Martin clocked 39:11, with a 17-second advantage on Nils Politt and 59 seconds on Jasha Sutterlin.
