Van Aert takes Belgian ITT title

Wout Van Aert rides faster and faster. After two stage wins at Criterium du Dauphiné, the Team Jumbo Visma Belgian topped the Belgian National Road Championships’ ITT race too, 38,3 km with start and finish in Middelkerke (Belgium) on Thursday, June 27th. Equipped with Aquila CV, the 24-year-old, from Herentals clocked 44:47, imposing heavy gaps to his rivals: Yves Lampaert was runner up (+32), Remco Evenepoel third (+39).

Twenty-four hours earlier, Team Jumbo-Visma had celebrated Jos Van Emden’s comeback on Dutch throne in the ITT race held in Ede.
