Roglic repeats stage win at Vuelta a España

After the 75th Vuelta a España opener, Bianchi and Primoz Roglic claimed a second victory in Wednesday October 28th stage 8, 164 km from Logroño to Alto de Moncalvillo. The Team Jumbo-Visma rider took advantage to the Oltre XR4 features in the crucial moment, surging away from his rivals in the final kilometre after an entertaining duel with Richard Carapaz on the last climb. With the stage win and time bonus, Primoz Roglic is just 13 seconds back of Carapaz, moving up to the second overall.

In Vuelta a España’s mountain stages, Primoz Roglic uses a special Oltre XR4 in a black colourway. Bianchi developed a unique paint system that significantly reduces the molecular weight of the coating. Thanks to Bianchi particular paint system, the Bianchi’s rider saved up to 80gr on the bike’s total weight, improving the power to weight ratio when climbing.
